# Check Domain Availability

> This endpoint creates a new domain.

This command is used to check the availability of a domain.

### Endpoint

**POST** - `/domains/lookup`

### Request Parameters

| Name                  | Type    | Required? | Description                                          |
| --------------------- | ------- | --------- | ---------------------------------------------------- |
| `domain`              | text    | Yes       | The SLD of the domain to be looked up                |
| `punnyCodeSearchTerm` | text    | Yes       | The puny code encoded search term for an IDN domain  |
| `tldsToInclude`       | text    | Yes       | All TLDs to be included when the search is performed |
| `isIdnDomain`         | Boolean | No        | If IDN Domains are enabled                           |
| `premiumEnabled`      | Boolean | No        | Premium domain enabled                               |
